What's the firmware upgrade precaution?
1. Ensure that the device's power is more than 30%. It is best to be plugged into power and stay on the charger.
2, The distance between the phone and the device is not more than 2 feet.
3. During the upgrade process, stay in the Hotmoon App upgrade interface.
4. When you hear the prompt "Firmware Upgrade Successful", please wait until the return arrow appears in the upper left corner of the interface. Then you can tap it to complete.
What should I do if the firmware upgrade fails?
During the firmware upgrade process, the progress bar stays without any move for more than 15 minutes, and the device can not be powered on or off, and the buttons are not responding, the firmware upgrade is regarded to have failed.
If so, plug the device into power, tap "Add Device" on the "Home" page of the Hotmoon App, and then tap "Tap here if firmware update fails" at the bottom. Thus the device could restart the firmware update process, and you need to wait patiently for the device to announce "Firmware update successful".
My phone cannot connect to device after pairing.
After successful pairing, every time you turn on device and Hotmoon App, they will automatically reconnect. If not, please tap "Home"-"Device" under the device list and wait around 5-10 seconds, the device list will be highlighted that the connection is successful. If still fail, please turn off the Bluetooth, Hotmoon App and device, and try to connect again.
How to mix sounds?
Tap "See All & DIY mix" in "Library" page and tap any sounds you like. And you can tap "DIY Mix" in the bottom column if you want to adjust the brightness and volume.
I cannot unlock the VIP content of the Hotmoon app.
Only the account which is being paired with the device can unlock the VIP content.
If account A gives device to account B after pairing, then account B can unlock the VIP content after pairing, while account A could just enjoy other features except unlocking the VIP content.
I cannot switch sounds by the button of device.
While it is playing the online sound of Hotmoon App, you have to switch sounds in Hotmoon App instead of the button.
The Bluetooth setting page of my phone shows that there are two Bluetooth connections?
Hotmoon adopts Dual-mode Bluetooth, one for controlling the device and another is for playing sounds.
The sounds being played by device is interrupted by the phone system notifications, text messages, incoming calls and other sounds.
If you are using Omini or Mona, please set your phone to mute mode, then the other sounds will not interrupt what the device is playing.
If you are using Mona Pro or Cocoon Pro, the sound from your phone will not be played through the device in the "sound machine mode".
Why do I need to offer geographic location permission?
Due to the requirements of the Android system, it is necessary for the OS below 12 to obtain the geographic location permission when connecting via Bluetooth. And you can turn off the geographic location permission after pairing.
